BLOG HOP & GIVEAWAY: The Best of 2014 - Audiobooks

Over the last 10 days of 2014, me and my blogger friends (Ali & Debbie from Black Heart Reviews, Stephanie & Brenna from No BS Book Review and Liis from Liis' Bookshelf ) will be sharing our favorite books in various categories. Don't forget to enter awesome giveaway at the bottom of this post!

I don't listen to audiobooks so I'm going to cheat a little in this category. Instead of my favorite picks, I'm going to share with you series that my good friend Laura from Little Read Riding Hood blog listened to this year. Here are her favorites:

I did try once. It was only a sample but it is just not for me... Anyway, thanks for helping me with this list :)

I love audiobooks! For me, they work best for romance or realistic fiction. In the case of sci-fi or fantasy, I like them better for re-reads (because of the unusual proper names). This year I listened to and enjoyed the whole Lux series by Jennifer Armentrout, Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover, Easy and Breakable by Tammara Webber, Him and Her by Carey Heywood, and A Different Blue by Amy Harmon.

From your cheat (lol) list, I've also listened the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy and, if I ever decide to tackle Outlander--a huge undertaking!, that is probably the route I'll take. Thanks :)

All of my friends who listened to Outlander audios absolutely loved Davina Porter. You should give it a try and listen to it ;)
Landline by Rainbow Rowell. I love listening to Rebecca Lowman. She can really tell a story!

Thanks for stopping by and for the recommendation :)
I LOVE audiobooks! I read more books that way than actually reading them. I listen while driving, doing housework, and even sometimes at work. (Shhh... ;)) I listen to mostly contemporaries, so I haven't read any of the ones you listed above that Laura liked, but I've heard great things about the Daughter of Smoke & Bone series! It's just not my kind of thing, but I know MOST people really enjoy it, especially on audio. Thanks for the recommendations! <3
